‘Who owns the beer cup’… Beer cup that flew to The Bruiner, FA investigation begins

The English Professional Football Association (FA) has launched an investigation into the case of a beer cup flying to Manchester City (Man City) Kevin Debrawiner (32) during an English Premier League (EPL) game.

The British BBC reported on the 17th that the FA investigation began when someone threw an object at The Bruiner in the 2022-2023 EPL Arsenal and Man City match (3-1 Man City win) held on the 16th (Korean time).

On this day, Manchester City played at Arsenal’s home, Emirates Stadium in London, England. De Bruyne started as a starter and was substituted in the 42nd

minute of the second half when the team was leading 3-1.

Afterwards, while De Bruyne was walking around the ground, a cup flew towards him. Fortunately, no one was injured with the disposable plastic beer cup.

Arsenal said it would investigate the CCTV footage and impose sanctions if the person responsible is identified. The FA also said it was unacceptable and expressed its intention to deal with it strictly.

De Bruyne, on the other hand, was delightful. After the game, he posted a picture of the situation on his Instagram, saying, “Does anyone have beer?” In the photo of the beer cup flying toward him, he also left the phrase “Thank you!”

Man City, who won away, put Arsenal down and rose to the top of the league.
