McTominay says “I’m leaving Man Utd”… goodbye after 21 years

Scott McTominay (Manchester United), whose form has been shaky this season, has finally announced his intention to leave the club.

McTominay has told friends that he wants regular game time at a time when he should be at the peak of his career, reports Football Insider. McTominay was also concerned that United were looking to strengthen the midfield position during the summer transfer window.

McTominay hasn’t been one of United’s favourite options this season. He has made just 10 starts in the English Premier League (EPL). That’s down significantly from the 28 starts he made last season. After starting 20 or more games in each of the last three seasons, he has seen a sharp decline in his role. McTominay, who joined United’s youth team in 2002 and broke into the first team in 2017, could be leaving the club after 21 years.스포츠토토

The likes of Newcastle United and West Ham United are reportedly interested in McTominay. United have set a price tag of more than £25 million for McTominay, who has two years left on his contract. The Red Devils are likely to enter into full-scale transfer talks after they have completed their season, including the FA Cup final.
