‘Lautaro multi-goal’… Inter Milan win Coppa Italia for second straight time

Italian professional soccer team Inter Milan has won the Coppa Italia (Italian Cup) for the second consecutive year.

Inter won the 2022-23 Coppa Italia final against Fiorentina 2-1 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, Italy on May 25 (KST).

The game started out in Fiorentina’s favor. Nicolas Gonzalez opened the scoring in the third minute of the first half. But Inter fought back, and in the 29th minute, Lautaro Martinez equalized off a pass from Marcelo Brozovic. The Nerazzurri took control of the game and pulled a goal back in the 37th minute.

Fiorentina had several chances to score in the second half. However, they were unable to break through the defense of goalkeeper Samir Handanovic and find the equalizer. Inter won the Coppa Italia for the second consecutive year. It was also Inter’s ninth overall title.스포츠토토

The Nerazzurri will now face Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League (UCL) final on June 11. There’s another title to be won.
