Daegu FC stunned powerhouse FC Seoul as they looked to stay in the hunt for the top spot.
Daegu stunned Seoul with a 1-0 victory in the 16th round of the Hana OneQ K League 1 2023 at DGB Daegu Bank Park on Thursday. After losing 0-3 in their first meeting of the season, Daegu avenged the defeat at home.
Daegu lined up in a 3-4-3 formation. Edgar, Sejingya and Ko Jae-hyun were up front, while Hong Chul, Lee Yong-rae, Lee Jin-yong and Hwang Jae-won were in the midfield. Cho Jin-woo, Hong Jung-woon, and Kim Jin-hyuk formed the back three. Choi Young-eun wore the goalkeeping gloves.메이저사이트

Daegu came out with an aggressive attack with forward pressure from the start. Daegu was the first to open the scoring. In the 15th minute, Go Jae-hyun received the ball on the left side of the penalty box and sent a sharp pass to Se Jing-ya at the right goal, and the ‘King of Daepak’ kicked it into the right goal of Seoul.
Daegu’s offence continued. In the 19th minute, Sejingya’s low cross from the left was met by Edgar, who dived to his right to get a foot on it, but it went wide. Seoul’s attack intensified in the second half. In the 11th minute of the second half, a mid-range shot hit the right side of the Daegu goal. Daegu introduced Park Se-jin in place of Lee Jin-yong in the 15th minute to strengthen the midfield. A back-and-forth battle ensued, but no further goals were scored, and the game ended with Daegu’s victory amidst cheers from the home fans.
