Big Bird’s cheering song that came back… the club’s criticism is even more ‘red flavor’

The cheering song of Suwon Samsung home fans rang again at Big Bird (another name for Suwon World Cup Stadium).

However, the Suwon fans’ geolgae changed to a more red flavor.

Suwon Samsung and Jeju United will face off in the 7th round of the Hana One Q K League 1 2023 at 2:00 pm on the 15th at the Suwon World Cup Stadium.

Suwon is at the bottom of the leaderboard with 2 draws and 4 losses without a win, 12th with 2 points. Jeju is in 10th place with 1 win, 2 draws and 3 losses, 5 points.

Both Suwon, who has not won in 6 games, and Jeju, who won in round 6, are facing important confrontations that will determine the direction of the early season.

Suwon started with a 4-3-3 formation. In addition to goalkeeper Yang Hyung-mo, the defense consisted of Ki-je Lee, Bultuis, Myeong-seok Ko, and Seung-won Jeong. Lee Jong-seong, Basani, and Kim Bo-kyung were in charge of the midfield, while Kim Kyung-joong, Mulich, and Seo Dong-han were responsible for the offense.

Jeju came out with a 3-4-3 formation. Including goalkeeper Kim Dong-jun, Kim Bong-soo, Kim Joo-won, and Kim O-gyu formed the back three. Lee Joo-yong and Ahn Hyeon-beom were in charge of wingbacks, while Koo Ja-cheol and Lee Chang-min were in charge of midfield. At the forefront, Ji Sang-wook, Yuri, and Dae-hwan Kim scrambled.

In the last two home games, I couldn’t hear the cheering of Suwon’s home fans. As there was no win at the beginning of the season, Suwon fans blocked the bus and boycotted cheering.

Regarding this, coach Lee Byeong-geun said, “The support of the fans makes the players jump one step further,” and asked the fans to cheer rather than boo.  안전놀이터

Suwon fans resumed cheering against Jeju. The Suwon supporters union ‘Frente Tricolo’ resumed cheering, but announced that they would request the resignation of coach Lee Byung-geun and a meeting.

Suwon fans waved flags, sang cheering songs, and chanted slogans such as “Cheer up, Suwon” to energize the Suwon players.

However, the content of the hanging was the same. Previously, the hangers cheering the players were hung upside down. The hanger normally hung was a white banner with a phrase written on it.

The white banners read “Supporters want communication”, “The front desk has been hiding behind the squad for several years”, “Responsibility that is only words? Now out”, and “Lower grades are due to lower management” were written on the white banners.

Following the previous game, a banner was hung in the center of the North spectator stand with the phrase “Fronts, coaches and players without ambition, leave immediately. Suwon has always refused to be third-rate.”

The stadium atmosphere was raised again by the cheering song of Suwon home fans, but it was not at all visible.
